I was recently sent coupons for the following Kroger brand foods to try for FREE: Moist and Tender Pork Tenderloin, Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, Crescent Rolls, Cake Mix, and frosting! Imagine my surprise when these coupons arrived and I knew that my family would enjoy a great dinner….for FREE!  Here is the review I posted to the BZZ agent website:

Kroger is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to shop here in my small town of Harrodsburg, KY. It has been my experience that they have great selections, hot sales, and rock bottom prices. Little did I know that they also have delicious products found under the Kroger brand label! Our family recently enjoyed a fabulous dinner complete with Creole Butter injected Moist and Tender Pork, Homestyle Refrigerated Mashed Potatoes, and Crescent Rolls. We topped off this yummy dinner with Chocolate Cake topped with Rich and Creamy Fudge frosting. I have to admit that this was one of the best dinners that our family has enjoyed in a long time. The pork melted in my mouth and had a flavor that cannot be explained. I have seen this product many different times at Kroger, but this was the first time I had bought it and I am now a fan for life! The pork cooked easily in the oven and was falling apart when it was time to eat. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were homemade and the crescent rolls were so flaky that they tore apart with ease. I live in a home with my husband and 2 small boys and there was no complaining and begging them to take “one more bite” with this meal! Everyone cleared their plates, went back for seconds, and was ready for a slice of chocolate cake! The cake was better than homemade and had such a moist texture that it literally melted in your mouth. Paired with a cold glass of milk and this was the perfect end to a great dinner!

Recently I participated in a Bzz campaign on Kroger Good For You products.  With this campaign I chose to try Kroger CARBmaster yogurt in Strawberry and Strawberry Banana.  Here is the review that I submitted on the BzzAgent website:

I am the type of person that HAS to have a well balanced breakfast in order to get my day going in the right direction. With two small children at home, this is often a difficult task. I find myself throwing unhealthy breakfast bars or dry cereal in a bag and heading off to work, knowing that these choices will leave me hungry and tired hours before lunch. I was excited to try Kroger CARBmaster yogurt because I knew this would be a quick, healthy, and filling breakfast that required very little preparation. I threw a carton of yogurt in my bag along with a banana and off to work I went. After my morning meeting I chopped up the banana at my desk and tossed a few pieces into my Strawberry Banana Yogurt cup. The result was a yummy, filling breakfast that held me over until lunch time! The taste and flavor of the yogurt was good and the banana helped to add a little bit of texture to the smooth yogurt. As a mother on the go, yogurt is always in my refrigerator and for the cost, Kroger CARBmaster is a comparable brand! The only downside I saw to this yogurt compared to some of the other brands I eat on a daily basis was the after taste. Once I finished my cup of Kroger yogurt I had a weird sweet taste in my mouth that I couldn’t get rid of without a great deal of water to drink. I think if Kroger could find a way to sweeten this yogurt in a natural way (without artificial sweeteners) this would be the perfect yogurt, at half the cost!

If you have ever considered purchasing the Kroger brand yogurt I encourage you to try Kroger CARBmaster.  I found it to be comparable to the name brand yogurts and at a fraction of the cost.  If you see me out in the community or at Kroger check with me to see if I have any coupons left from my Bzz kit!
